Snow Days in North Carolina - Part 2

     Hello Lovelies!
I thought Hailey's previous post was so cute that I thought I would join in! So here are some pictures I took today as I ventured out into the cold! Thanks for the inspiration, Hailey!

I hope you enjoyed looking at these photographs just as much as I enjoyed taking them!
     Enjoy these beautifully cold days!

Snow Days in North Carolina

Hello Lovelies!
They don't come around very often, that's for sure! With the recent cold snap everyone in the south has been curling up and hibernating for the past two days. Considering we're right in the heart of it, we've all been enjoying this beautiful snow that we haven't had in quite a few years. So I ventured out and snapped a couple pictures that I hope you enjoy. :) Let me know if you're experiencing similar weather and be safe! :)

Hailey

Haul: A Little Shopping Spree at Anthropologie

     Hello Lovelies!
It's been a little while since we've posted last! It's been too long, loves!
But to be honest, we haven't been doing much except for school, so there hasn't been a lot to write about. However, we did get the chance to do a little shopping last Saturday. Why don't we share what we bought with you?

Morgan

Albiet Lipstick in Peony - $18

Crystal Hyphen Necklace - $19.95 (sale)

Kayla

Royal Apothic Conservatory Collection in Hot House Peonie - $22 (tester size)

Letterpress Notepad Thank You Notes - $18

Though this doesn't seem like much, the couple items we bought were a bit expensive and we didn't want to go overboard. But, we figured we would share these couple purchases with you anyway.
Let us know in the comments below if you've been loving anything from Anthropologie recently! We adore this store and would love to know what you all pick up when you're there.

Haul: Mac, Sephora, Topshop and Essie

Hello Lovelies!
Considering I got a good bit of money for Christmas, I regretfully say I've been spending quite a lot lately especially on makeup. (Guilty Pleasure Alert!) Here are a few of the things I've picked up and my thoughts on them and I also threw in a couple beauty Christmas gifts. Hope you enjoy! :)
MAC Fix + Solution MAC Select Cover-Up MAC Studio Fix Fluid
I've been using the Fix + solution for a while now and I really like it! It can be used as a primer, makeup thinner, face refresher, or makeup setting solution. I prefer to use it as a primer or to set my makeup so I don't look as powder-y. It smells amazing and I definitely recommend it. This is my first purchase of the Select Cover-Up and so far I'm loving it. I mainly use it for under my eyes and it provides good coverage and lasts all day. Lastly, the Studio Fix Fluid Foundation is by far my favorite foundations. I've been through about 4 bottles of the stuff and it's amazing! I definitely recommend!
Topshop: Lipstick in Macaroon - Lip Cream in Smart - Cream Blush in Head Over Heels
I've really been wanting a nice pink-ish color lipstick and when I saw this one called Macaroon (love the name, too!) I just had to get it! It's the perfect shade and really nice quality. This lip cream came along as a little freebie but I actually really like the color as it's a deep plum-ish red with sparkles. This cream blush is one I've been eyeing for a while now. I own another one in Flush and they're such nice quality I had to buy another. This coral color looks amazing on my skin especially in the winter months as I am lacking a bit of sun.
Essie: A Crewed Interest - All Tied Up - Hors D'Oeuvres - Eternal Optimist
These are a few nail polishes I got for Christmas as gifts and I love them all so very much and can't wait to use them all!

Lorac Pro To Go Palette
Shimmer: Pearl - Chai - Mink
Matte: Shell - Cafe - Black
Blushers/Bronzers: Coral - Pink - Bronze
I have been wanting this little palette for such a long time! I finally came across it on sale(!!) in Sephora a few days ago and I just couldn't pass it up! It's got everything you need all foulded up nice and pretty and the shades are just gorgeous. It comes with three natural matte and shimmer shades which all go together so nicely! It also has two blushes and a bronzer which is especially nice as you have a nice shimmery coral and matte pink. I definitely recommend this and the quality is amazing!

Comment below if you like any of these products and what you think!

Hailey

December Favorites

     Hello, Lovelies!
Where did December go? With exams, holiday shopping, Christmas decorating, and everything in between, this month just flew by.
I have to admit, I'm a little upset December is over. Despite the cold and rainy weather, December is my favorite month! I love Christmas and everything about it. It only makes sense that I have some December favorites, right?

1. Canon EOS Rebel T3i
(This is my early Christmas present from my parents...and I love it! It's the best camera I have ever used and has fantastic quality...Especially for video making!)

2. Revlon Lipstick
( "Plum Velour" - 850. I love this color for the holidays! It makes me feel Christmasy.)

3. Studio - The App
(This is an example of a little creation I made on the Studio app. I've pretty much been addicted to making pictures like this for a while now.)

4. Nivea Moisturizing Body Wash
(I love this body wash as it is moisturizing for the winter and doesn't dry my skin out. And it smells amazing!)

5. Naia by Thymes
(I've had this perfume for a while, but haven't used it as much recently. But I started using it as a change from a heavier scent I had been using from Zara. This one just smells really clean and fresh...almost like a cologne, but more flowery. )

6. Lana Del Rey
(I just discovered her whole album, and I love every song on it!)

7. Fur
(Fur is really in this season, so I ordered my winter jacket from Topshop with that in mind. It not only looks cute, but keeps me really warm.)

8. MacAlister Boots
(This shoes have kept my feet dry and warm during this rainy and cold season.)

9. Record Player
(This is my dad's old record player from the '80s and I just hooked it up last week. I've been listening to Frank Sinatra and The Police on the vinyl every single day.)

10. Milka Chocolate
(This stuff is delicious! I originally got it on my trip to Germany, and the best sister ever sent it to me for Christmas this year.)

Let me know in the comments what you've been loving this December!
     xoxo,
     Kayla
